Bastien and Camille C.

Bastien with Elise
Marian Middle is school for underprivileged girls. Today we went there to live out St. Angela's motto of serviam. To begin, we had mass together at their chapel. Next, we split up into groups to speak with the students about our daily life in France. After interacting with the students, one group talked amongst many of the girls at lunch and the second group played basketball with another crowd of girls. We ended the morning with saying goodbye to all of the kind girls we had met.

For lunch, we went to a sandwich and a mexican restaurant. That was great because we met american students but my burrito was so huge ! After, we had a 1 hour trip to go to an ursuline's establishment where old sisters live. The trip was fun because we talked about France and United-States. Arrived, we talk with the sisters. For me, it was hard to understand what they were saying but nice. We sang La Marseillaise for the sisters and ursuline's students sang their school's song. After, we came back to school and we went to a tacoball with some french students and their host to eat before the basketball game at 5.15 p.m. That's incredible to see that they always eat ! So, we went to the basketball game: it was the school's team versus the first national team. We lost 38 at 84 but that was amazing because we saw dance and cheerleaders ! That was so cool ! And, then, that is the end of the day !
